Avanti Products was – and is - the largest pure distributor of appliance products in the U.S.
Products include refrigerators, freezers, wine coolers, ranges, air conditions and laundry products.
Distribution centers are located in California, Illinois, New Jersey and at its headquarters in Miami.
The company purchases appliances made in China, Korea, Italy and Turkey.
Avanti sells to retailers in the U.S. and also in the Carribean and Latin America. Retailers supplied by Avanti include KMart, Best Buy, Target, Brandsmart and over three hundred others.

Directed all aspects of the company. Primary business: sale of homes and condominiums and the sale of home-sites in ten master planned communities in Florida.
Oversaw approximately 2,500 employees and a sales force of over 1000 company and franchised sales representatives in approximately 100 offices world-wide.
Sold approximately 8000 homes and condominiums. Developed over 1000 miles of roads, expanded nine utilities systems operated nine golf and country clubs as well as a regional lumber company. Launched a new time-share business. Directed the design, permitting and sale of a new 5000 acre community, Tampa Palms.
Successfully managed a massive customer service effort to resolve over 100 million dollars of purchaser claims as well as numerous lawsuits and regulatory issues arising out of the Corps of Engineer's 1976 denial of dredging permits on Marco Island. Returned the company to profitability following the permit denial.
Successfully redirected the company from installment land sales to homes and condominiums as the primary revenue and profit source of the company.
Directed private and public financing of the company. Brought in a major partner who put over 30 million dollars into the company. Successfully defended the company from a hostile takeover attempt.
In 1985 negotiated the sale of controlling interest in Deltona to Minnesota Power Corp. Continued to serve as a director of The Deltona Corporation until 1986.

Construction and Development
The Deltona Corporation
Responsible for all home construction, condominiums construction, roads building, earthmoving, shopping center construction, dredge and fill operations, seawall production and all other construction and development activities. Annual volume of work was in excess of 40 million dollars.
Reorganized and restaffed the Construction and Development department. Significantly increased profit margins on home and condominium sales. Planned and completed all projects in a timely manner adhering to the Mackle family standards of quality and customer satisfaction.

The Deltona Corporation
Responsible for the newly acquired Fortune Homes, a Sarasota based mobile home manufacturer and later for the development and operation of two “state-of-the-art” and highly acclaimed manufactured homes facilities in Bradenton and St. Augustine Florida. Produced over 3,000 homes for delivery to Deltona projects and to third party buyers around the state.
